Happy Monday everyone! I hope you all had a great weekend. We hosted our third annual meat fest. A couple years ago several of our guys friends came over, took over my kitchen, and smoked every kind of meat imaginable before the rest of our friends joined for dinner. It quickly became a fall tradition. They take our TVs (yes plural) outside. Football is watched, cornhole is played, too much food is eaten, and we have a generally great time. I love sitting back and letting the men do the cooking.
I wore this easy outfit for the day (see my Instagram snap here). I made the comment to my friends that I don’t do casual very well. I enjoy dressing up, and I don’t feel like I have the casual chic thing down that so many of you do. I always feel like a bit of a poser. When I shared this snap on Instagram and my fall post, people seemed to like it. It made me think I need to work on and share more casual looks. I’d love to hear what you all would like to see more of on the blog. Anyways, this outfit is a recreation of one I shared previously. Adding a great pair of boots and a leather jacket, made it the perfect fall weekend look. These pieces are going to be heavy in my rotation. How fun is this blue moto jacket from Santa Fe Apparel? It’s a great quality faux leather and the blue will go with so much. If you follow me on Instagram, you know I have also been on a major boot kick. I’m obsessed with this Sole Society pair. They really are a great destination for fall boots. Just see last week’s post for more evidence. Be sure to check out the other Blogger Nation girl’s selections.

I love this plaid top of yours, Amy! I actually bought a similar top from Shein and impatiently waiting for it to arrive 🙂

What great booties! I have been wanting a navy pair & Sole Society has so many options! They only problem is they sell out so quickly!
